Summer Picnic Set for August 6th

You are invited to Habitat for Humanity FM's 3rd Annual Summer Picnic! This year's picnic will be held on Thursday, August 6th, at Moorhead's Gooseberry Mound Park from 4:30PM to 7:30PM.
Our Annual Summer Picnic is a free, all-ages celebration of our community and our year's work. Dinner will be served at 5:30PM and a short program will follow with announcements, introductions to new staff, and the presentation of the 2026 Harvey Stalwick Volunteer Award. The rest of the evening will be spent playing games, exploring the park and playground, and connecting with your fellow Habitat for Humanity community of volunteers, donors, sponsors, partners, homebuyers, homeowners, committee members, staff, directors, and their friends and families.
To attend, please RSVP no later than Monday, July 27th (11:59PM) by clicking here or the button below. We ask that you count everyone in your group when you RSVP so that we can ensure the right amount of food and beverages.

Construction Volunteers Can Register Online

Join us on a Habitat for Humanity FM build site!
Sunshine and warm weather brings a new season of home construction to Habitat FM. That means our construction calendar is now open, and we are accepting volunteer registrations! If you'd like to join us on the build site this summer, check out our online calendar here or through the link below. We have group and individual community volunteer opportunities available (including several in early July!) and we would love to get you or your organization involved to build some homes!

First Nail, Wall Raising Schedule

Habitat for Humanity FM's 2026 build season brings several First Nail and Wall Raising Ceremonies — and we want to invite you to every single one!
At 2PM on Thursday, July 9, we will host a First Nail Ceremony for the Abdi and Halima Nunow Family at 3004 32nd Ave S in Moorhead, MN.
At 2PM on Friday, July 17, we will host a First Nail Ceremony for the Chris Martin Family at 3046 32nd Ave S in Moorhead, MN.
At 2:30PM on Friday, August 7, we will host a Wall Raising Ceremony for the Khamisa Saadella Family at 3115 30th St S in Moorhead, MN.
Please join us to celebrate our work and share in these life-changing moments for our 2026 homebuyers and their families.

Habitat FM Seeking Global Village Builders
Guatemala Trip in September

You are invited to join our Global Village construction team on a September 19th-26th trip to El Progreso, Guatemala!
Habitat for Humanity FM is seeking interested partners to join us on a Global Village mission trip to El Progreso, Guatemala, from September 19th to the 26th. Participants will work alongside Habitat FM staff building or improving homes in the Central American nation and fulfilling our global effort to provide safe, decent, and affordable homes for everyone.
The cost of the trip is roughly $2,400 + Airfare, and the full amount will be due by July 31st.
