Thank you for being part of our journey. Your friendship and support mean the world to me, and I do not take them for granted. I feel both privileged and humbled to have earned your trust.
Through my work and my words, on Thursday night [March 6, 2025 New York Gala] and always, I strive to share my passion, my research, and to connect us all to the power of our imagination, while staying true to myself and the world around me.
We have emerged from the depths of our sorrow, witnessing some of the hardest moments in our region. Yet, together, we have succeeded in bringing meaning to our daily lives and to those we encounter. We could not have done it without you.
And remember, don’t forget to dance a little every day.
With gratitude,
Ohad Naharin

A Triumphant Return to the US: A Tour to Remember
The past month has been exhilarating. Batsheva’s senior company kicked off its US tour – the first since October 7 – on February 14 in Los Angeles with performances of Ohad Naharin‘s MOMO. This long-awaited return was met with enthusiasm and warmth as every performance in L.A. was nearly sold out. The five-minute standing ovations reaffirmed the deep connection between our artists and audiences across the country.
In Los Angeles, where Batsheva provided a much-needed respite to audiences after devastating wildfires and subsequent mudslides, the energy in the theater was electric. Center Dance Arts co-sponsored these performances, and patrons enjoyed a reception and Q & A with Ohad after the show.
The company moved on to Berkeley. AFB sponsored a beautiful post-show reception at the home of long-time friends of Batsheva, Naomie and Charles Kremer. Co-chaired by Dalia and Lance Nagel and Orli and Zack Rinat, it brought together dedicated supporters, artists, and new audiences. The evening was filled with heartfelt reflections on the power of dance and its ability to bring light in uncertain times.
The last stop in California was Santa Barbara, where they performed one show at the Granada Theatre, sponsored by Jody and John Arnhold. It was profoundly moving to witness the impact of our dancers' artistry and the unwavering support of the community in this charming coastal town.
The tour culminated in New York with a spectacular gala evening, bringing together longtime patrons, new friends, and supporters who share our passion for dance. The night was a celebration not only of our performances but also of the resilience, creativity, and dedication that have carried us through these challenging times.
This tour was more than just a series of performances—it was a testament to the enduring power of dance to inspire, unite, and uplift. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made it possible: our audiences, donors, and partners who believe in our mission.

Update from Dina Aldor
Dear friends,
The senior company is back home after its long US tour with MOMO, while the Ensemble, Batsheva's junior company, just embarked on a month-long tour across France, with Ohad Naharin's Virus. We are back on the road, grateful for being able to share our art with people worldwide. It was moving to witness how deeply engaged our audiences were by the extraordinary artistry of the dancers and by the profound human experience it offers.
Many thanks to all of you who came to the shows in Los Angeles, Berkeley, Santa Barbara, and New York. We were happy to see many familiar faces after many years of absence and enjoyed meeting dance-makers across the board, our professional colleagues. Much appreciation and thanks for our friends in Berkeley for hosting a lovely reception, and to our New York Gala supporters. Having such a strong and warm community of support is truly meaningful to us.
I am delighted to update that our Campus project is finally taking off. We succeeded in our big effort to raise the preliminary funding, and consequently the Municipality has officially declared the start of construction in Spring. Much heartfelt gratitude to all those who answered our call and came forward with support to facilitate this. We hope to announce the precise dates shortly. Here's a reminder of our vision for the new arts campus. Learn more about how you can support this transformative project.
Summer is approaching and with it two significant tours of Anafaza, Ohad's iconic piece for both companies. We will open the prestigious Montpellier Dance Festival at the Opera Corum on June 21 and 22, and will have an extensive run of 9 shows at La Villette in Paris starting July 11. We are welcoming friends to join us – see below.
I am happy to hear back from you, please feel free to write me back at dina@batsheva.co.il
