The annual Taste of the Tour Show, held at the prestigious Blue Line Gallery in Roseville, features one piece of artwork from every artist, school, and gallery participating in this year’s Placer Artists Tour.
Don’t miss this opportunity to put your artwork in front of potential art buyers! Visitors will be viewing the show, discovering artists, and planning their stops for the Tour. Some may even fall in love with your piece and purchase it directly from the show!
An elegant reception, held on Saturday, October 24, is open to the public.

The show is administered by Blue Line Arts. Submission details are outlined in the application.

The Submission deadline is August 28th, 5 pm.
Artists will be notified of acceptance by September 2nd.

2026 Tour Artists are invited to show and sell a piece of artwork at Symphony & Art in the Park.
This annual collaborative event with the Auburn Symphony is an opportunity to meet and interact with art and music lovers. There is no fee to participate and art sales are between artist and buyer.
Held on Saturday, September 19 at the School Park Preserve in Auburn, the art viewing begins at 5 pm. The Symphony begins at 7 pm. Artists should plan on dropping artwork off that day at 3 pm and will want to stay during viewing. Unsold artwork should be picked up at 8 pm.
Artists whose work was chosen for Symphony program covers will be presented.
The Symphony performance is free!

If you are a new artist, school or gallery on the Tour this year, get prepared to shine! You are invited to participate in the New Artist Showcase.
The public is invited to discover the Tour's newest artists at a free event on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hotel Vista Sierra, 13535 Bowman Road, Auburn.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet you, learn about your creative journey, and preview your original artwork. Demonstrations are encouraged but not required. You may sell your artwork at this event and there is no fee or commission.
Admission is free and open to the public. Please note there is no commission fee on your sales at this event.
Tuesday, September 1 at 5 pm, Artist Welcome-Please plan to attend this brief meeting at the Hotel to review the area available and ask questions. Attendees will have first choice of display spots.
Thursday, September 24 the Placer Artists Tour New Artist Showcase is from 5-7 pm

This is a very important meeting for your Tour Success. Please make every effort to be at this event
This potluck is for Tour Artists, Schools and Galleries Schools and Galleries should select a representative to attend.
Grow your Art practice with a 2 month solo exhibit and artist reception at one of 2 art galleries hosted by Shepherd of the Sierra Presbyterian Church.
The winner of this 2027 Solo Art Show will work with Sue Bordelon, curator, on professional framing, determining a theme, installation, and celebration. Be as involved as you like, or just drop off 15 to 25 framed pieces and Sue's team will do the rest. Pedestals are available for sculptural work. Your artist write up and announcements promoting the show and artist reception will be included on the church website and weekly communications to church attendees. All sales will be made directly between you and the buyer so no commission fee. This is a great opportunity to expand your community exposure. You must be present at the Potluck on September 9 to win!
Signage, Tour Location posters, copies of the guide and other important literature will be distributed at this potluck.
If you cannot attend please make arrangements to have another artist or friend pick your material up for you.

Let your collectors know! Three drawings will be held for $50 Art Bucks, to be used toward the purchase of artwork from participating Tour artists through December 31, 2027.
Tour-ists who register for the Tour will be included in the next drawings. The earlier they register, the more opportunities they have to win! If you receive Artbucks as payment for your artwork, they are redeemed for cash (check) by the Tour office.

Dine and Drink Program is Recruiting
|
Do you have a favorite restaurant, brewpub, winery, or wine-tasting spot?
Invite them to become a Dine and Drink Sponsor for the Placer Artists Tour weekends! Sponsors will be featured on Bidcrest, the Tour’s web app, helping Tour visitors discover great places to eat, drink, and relax while exploring the Tour.
We have a Dine and Drink Sponsor sign-up form available if you’d like to approach your favorite establishment.
CLICK HERE to download and print the form. Forms are also available for pickup at the Tour office, weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will be located just outside our inner door.

Due to popular demand the Mini Works of Art Grab Bag is back! If you are not familiar with the Grab Bags, it is a fun fundraiser for The Placer Artists Tour. Once again we will be selling the Grab Bags at Taste of the Tour Reception. The event is on October 24th at Blue Line Arts. I will pack up all the grab bag items a week or so before that so Deadline to get them to me is October 15th (Give or take.) The approximate value should be at least $20 per item.
You can drop your donations to the Artist Potluck on September 9th at Sierra Presbyterian Church in Loomis. You can also leave them for me at High Hand Gallery OR the Placer Artists Tour Office at 100 El Dorado, Suite 2 in Auburn. Be sure you label it to me and let me know if you do this so I can pick them up. You can also bring it to my house in Rocklin, or I can pick it up someplace. Let me know what works!
