OUTSIDE THE BOX: Reimagined 2026-A SPIN ON ART

If you joined us for our LAUNCH PARTY on January 22,* you've selected your vintage album cover and vinyl and are probably planning your unique and creative art piece! You must incorporate your vinyl and/or paper jacket into your (extraordinary!) 2-D or 3D artwork. Each record becomes a one-of-a-kind collectible — a fusion of music history and visual creativity — and will be showcased and sold in a live and silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the Placer Artists Tour and the vibrant creative network it sustains.
The size limitation is: Two-dimensional size not to exceed 24”W x 48”H x 4”D and will be hung on ProPanels. Three-dimensional pieces on a pedestal size not to exceed 24”W x 24”D x 24”H and three-dimensional pieces sitting on the floor not to exceed 48”W x 48”D x 60”H.
Jurors for the show are:
- Jenny Darlington-Person is the Executive Director of the Arts Council of Placer County and a development consultant for InConcert Sierra.
- Deanna Marsh, Principal and Artist at Sculptures Interpreting the Natural Forces of Change, Glass and Metal Art Sculpture Installations.
- Radio Personality, to be announced.

- Monday, April 6 • 10 am - 3 pm Artist drop-off of finished pieces at Blue Goose Event Center, 3550 Taylor Rd., Loomis, CA.
- Tuesday, April 7 through Wednesday April 8 at noon. Art installation.
- Wednesday, April 8, 10 am - 5 pm Silent and Live Auction - open to public (free):
- Wednesday, April 8, 5 pm - 8 pm Public Artist Reception and Silent & Live Auction Preview

- Thursday, April 9, 2026 • 6–9 pm • Gala Dinner & Live Auction (Ticketed event) All selected artwork will be featured online and publicized in print.
- Friday, April 10 Art take down and pickup
- Artists may opt to receive 50% of the artwork sale price.
