MCPF OFFERS STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING

MCPF provides $10,000 in scholarship funding to the Minnesota Chapters of the National Black Police Association and the Latino Police Officers Association to help advance their Law Enforcement Student Scholarship Programs. Both organizations are vital in promoting educational opportunities for aspiring law enforcement professionals from underrepresented communities. By supporting their scholarship programs, we are enhancing access to education and fostering a more inclusive police force that reflects the diverse communities throughout Minnesota.

MCPF BOARD MEMBER HIGHLIGHT - CINDY McCLEARY

We are honored to highlight Cindy McCleary, Vice President, Managing Principal at LEO A DALY, as an esteemed member of our Board of Directors.

Cindy's experience is personal, having grown up in a law enforcement family, she saw firsthand the pride for service and weight willingly carried by first responders. Her role with MCPF is driven by a desire to show appreciation for the service of first responders and to assist their families, support officers' continued growth, and to be an advocate for the positive impact they make in our communities.

Passionate about the mission of MCPF, Cindy emphasizes the importance of supporting those who dedicate their lives to serving others, often at personal cost. She is committed to ensuring that the foundation provides critical resources for community engagement, and trust-building initiatives in areas where funding can be limited and to support continued leadership development. Through MCPF, she aims to foster broad support for law enforcement agencies, enhancing their efforts to build meaningful relationships within their communities.

“Minnesota Chiefs of Police Foundation is instrumental in driving positive change in police-community relations, guided by leaders who are committed to making a difference across Minnesota.”  - Cindy McCleary
