๐ŸŒพ Ranch Roundup – July 2025
Why Monthly?

One Month. One Update. One Big Thank You.

Why Monthly?

After reflecting on our capacity and your feedback, we’re shifting from weekly to a single monthly newsletter. This allows us to share more meaningful updates without overwhelming your inbox or our small team. Fewer emails, bigger impact — and as always, heartfelt thanks for being here.

โ›ณ Sherwin-Williams Golf Tournament: $4,000+ Raised!

Huge thanks to Sherwin-Williams Bend and every golfer who teed off at Lost Tracks on June 16. Together you generated $4,000+ for veteran programs and daily ranch operations. Your drives are changing lives!

๐Ÿ™Œ We Need You (Yes, You!)

Our core volunteers are amazing, but the workload keeps growing. As we head into summer we need more hands than ever. WE CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT THE HELP OF OUR VETERAN VOLUNTEERS! If you’ve been waiting for a sign—this is it:

Where We Need You What You’d Do When
๐Ÿฅฌ Harvest Crew Pick, wash, package produce Thursdays starting at 9am
๐ŸŽช Ranch Labor Help with general ranch operations Flexible
๐Ÿงฐ Skilled Trades Carpentry, light repairs Flexible

One-time or ongoing—every hour matters.

๐Ÿ‘ท‍โ™‚๏ธ We’re Hiring: Ranch Hand & Ranch Manager

We’re adding staff (no one’s leaving!) to cover new hours and projects:

  • Ranch Hand (PT) – field work, facility upkeep, animal care

  • Ranch Manager (FT) – oversee ops, mentor volunteers, trauma-informed engagement

Send résumés to info@covranch.org

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Garage-to-Workshop: Veterans at the Helm

Renovation has begun on a garage conversion that will:

  1. Boost in-house maintenance capacity

  2. Offer classes in woodworking & basic repairs

  3. Provide paid jobs for veterans in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and finish work (volunteers still welcome for support tasks)

Veteran tradespeople: we want to hire you to make this project happen!
