We ended the year on a high by breaking our yearly volunteer count. In 2024 we hosted 56 events with 1,737 volunteers contributing 4,141 volunteer hours. Thank you to everyone who came out this year to give back to the trail!

We recently joined the Old Town North Alliance and attended their annual meeting on December 10th. We are excited to join this alliance and help collaborate on projects that not only improve the Old Town North (OTN) community but benefit the trail. If you live in OTN or own a business in OTN you should consider joining.

Thanks to a superstar trail user who volunteered their time to update the look of our website. We now have a splash page that describes who we are and makes it easier for people to volunteer or donate.

Test out the website by clicking the volunteer or donate buttons. 😉

In December we hosted 2 volunteer events with 57 volunteers giving 126 volunteer hours. Highlights included walking in the Scottish Christmas Walk Parade with Volunteer Alexandria.
