Climate WIN in the Northeast!

At the end of December, NY Governor Kathy Hochul signed the Climate Change Superfund Act into law, making New York the second state (along with Vermont) in the nation to require fossil fuel companies to pay for climate damages. The law will raise $75 billion over 25 years from the oil and gas companies most responsible for the climate crisis, funding vital climate adaptation and resilience projects across the state. The passage marks a major escalation in state-level climate action as the incoming Trump administration threatens to roll back federal environmental protections. Read more here!

Registration is now open for The Medical Consortium on Climate and Health's Annual Conference, happening in March. This event will bring together health professionals from across the country to explore the intersection of health and climate action.   2. Support for the rule: Express your support for OSHA’s proposed rule to prevent heat injury and illness.

  3. Your perspective: Share why the heat rule matters based on your experience and expertise.
