Local Leadership, Lasting Impact

A Warm September Welcome
From the Lobby of the Award-Winning Cedar Park Public Library

A Note from Belle

Hi friends,

School’s back, the halls are humming, and while the Texas sun hasn’t cooled down, neither have we.

One recent Sunday, over 5,000 visitors walked through our doors — a new record that left even my feathers ruffled! From storytimes to new faces, the Library is buzzing with energy and possibility.

And just when we thought things couldn’t get any sweeter — we were named ULI Austin’s Best Public Place for 2025. What an honor! This award belongs to you — our readers, donors, and dreamers.

In this month’s Next Chapter, we’re also celebrating community builders like the Grimes family and the team at Corridor Title, and exploring how small gifts create lasting change.

It’s also the perfect moment to spotlight someone soaring behind the scenes: our Executive Director, Kristen Huguley, now officially part of the Leadership Cedar Park Class of 2026.

With feathers fluffed and full of pride,
Belle 🐦

A Proud Moment: Cedar Park Public Library Wins ULI Austin's Best Public Place Award

We’re thrilled to celebrate the new Cedar Park Public Library as the recipient of ULI Austin’s 2025 Best Public Place Award—a prestigious honor recognizing public spaces that elevate civic life and community connection.

Nestled in the heart of the Bell District, this library is more than a place for books. It’s a community anchor, a spark for economic vitality, and a welcoming space for all ages to gather, learn, and grow.

This award reflects not just architectural excellence, but a shared vision brought to life through public-private partnership, thoughtful design, and the passion of those who believe in the power of place.
