Celebrating 2024 Success and Looking Ahead to 2025
|
Happy New Year! We’re excited to welcome all the new members who have joined the Cedar Park Public Library family. It’s wonderful to have you with us as we work together to enhance our library and better serve Cedar Park.
We’re also thrilled to introduce Kristen Huguley as the new Executive Director of the Cedar Park Public Library Foundation! Kristen, who successfully led our Imagine the Possibilities enhancement campaign, is stepping into this role to help us grow alongside the new library and continue with our mission to amplify the library’s impact on our community for generations to come.
Looking back, 2024 was a monumental year for the library, capped off with the long-awaited relocation to its stunning new home in the Bell District. Not only did the library’s size nearly double—from 25,000 to 47,000 square feet—but so did its usage, with more patrons, higher program attendance, and greater demand for all of our new facilities. This milestone marks the beginning of even greater opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together as a community. Together, we can shape the next chapter of our library’s future—stay tuned for more details about The Chapter Society, launching soon!
In this newsletter, you’ll find highlights from the library’s recent impact, updates on the Foundation’s work, and a preview of exciting events coming soon. Thank you for your continued support as we look ahead to another impactful year! Be sure to check back each month for more updates and ways to get involved!
Warm regards,
The Cedar Park Public Library Foundation

To build on our incredible momentum from 2024, we’re focusing on three key areas in 2025 to ensure we continue serving our growing community:
|
Program Support: Inspiring learning and creativity through initiatives like Books for Babies, Summer Reading Club, Friends of the Library, and the MakerSpace.
|
Expanded Collections: Growing traditional book collections and introducing the Library of Things, which provides access to STEM kits, educational tools, and technology to inspire exploration.
|
Community Outreach: Extending library programs and resources to reach those who need them most.

Thanks to your support, these efforts will thrive, bringing meaningful opportunities to everyone in the Cedar Park community.
