From my perch outside the Library, I see love every day.

Not the loud kind.

The steady kind.

The kind that shows up for Storytime.
The kind that builds collaboration rooms.
The kind that quietly says, “This matters.”

This month, I want to show you what love looks like here.

Anne Duffy has spent her life in service—to her country, her community, and her family.

When Cedar Park outgrew its old library, she didn’t hesitate. She stepped forward to help build something bigger—something meant to last for generations.

For Anne, giving wasn’t about recognition.

It was about continuity—about caring enough to help shape what comes next.

Anne’s story is one expression of love for this place.

But we know there are many more.
