Next Chapter: Typhoon Texas Passes, Mini Golf, and a Library Full of Stories!

Your next great memory starts here—make it unforgettable. It all begins with the Reading Challenge on May 24 and Summer Adventure kickoff fun on May 31!

A Note from Belle πŸ’™

Hi friends,

The sun is shining, the books are stacking, and the excitement is building—summer is here, and it’s time for a new chapter of adventure!

At the Cedar Park Public Library Foundation, we believe every great summer begins with a great story. That’s why our Summer Adventure & Reading Challenge is bigger, brighter, and more interactive than ever. With live music, dance, LEGO builds, MakerSpace art, mini golf, and reading rewards for all ages—there’s something magical waiting for everyone.

In just six months, our new Library has welcomed over 330,000 visitors—more than an entire year at our previous location! With over 100 programs each month—and ramping up to 200 during the Summer Adventure—it’s buzzing with energy, curiosity, and connection. This is living proof that our new Library is making a powerful impact in our Central Texas community.

As you flip through this newsletter, we hope you’ll feel inspired—not just to read, but to connect, create, and give back. This year, we’re looking to welcome 60 new Chapter Society members by the end of the year—just 10 each month—to help fuel literacy, connection, and lifelong learning across Cedar Park.

Whether you’re joining a program, donating a book, or becoming a monthly donor, every action helps write the story of a stronger, more connected community.

Let’s make this our best summer yet—one page, one program at a time. Explore the full Summer Adventure calendar and see what’s coming up!

Happy reading (and adventuring!),

Belle

Library Spotlight: A Community on the Move

With more visitors and programs than ever before, here’s how we’re keeping the Library welcoming and wonderful for everyone.

Be Kind

πŸ“’ As we prepare for a record-breaking summer, we ask everyone to 🐝 kind to fellow visitors and staff:

🐝 Leave close parking spaces for seniors and persons with mobility challenges.
🐝 Return your books to the outside RETURNS slot.
🐝 Be gentle with library furniture and equipment.
🐝 Eat meals in the lobby or courtyard.
🐝 Plan ahead and be patient when visiting the Library during our busy summer season.

Please be prepared for long lines and traffic congestion. Weekdays may be less crowded than weekends.

🐾 Belle says: “The more kindness we share, the better the story becomes.”

Amplifying Our Library.
Empowering Central Texans.

In 2025, the Foundation is focused on three key goals:
πŸ“– Expanding programs like Books for Babies and Summer Adventure
πŸ“š Growing collections with books and hands-on learning tools
🌟 Bringing library access to more people through community outreach

We’re aiming for 60 new monthly donors by year’s end — that’s just 10 each month — to help fuel literacy, connection, and lifelong learning across Cedar Park.

Your gift helps the Library do more — for more people, in more powerful ways.
