For a few days this spring… you’ll want to be there.

The Next Chapter:
A Season of Stories

From my perch outside the Library, I can feel the season changing.

Not all at once.

But in small, steady ways.

More people lingering a little longer.
More conversations drifting through the doors.
More stories finding their way into waiting hands.

This place is growing.

Recognized with the 2025 Library Excellence Award.
Now LEED Silver certified, honoring thoughtful design and sustainability.
And as we head toward National Library Week, it’s a reminder of just how much this place means to our community.

But what I notice most…

Isn’t the milestones.

It’s the people.

This month, I want to show you what that growth looks like.

I think you might recognize it.

💬 The Library, In Their Words

This is a season of stories.

And some of the most meaningful ones don’t live on the shelves — they live in the people who walk through these doors every day.

Here are just a few voices from our community:

“The library has become a true sanctuary for me… one of my favorite places.”
— Bethany, Library Visitor

“Both of my daughters started with Miss Jane’s baby storytime. They are now in their freshman and junior years at UT Austin.

I totally credit the Cedar Park library for their love of reading and learning.”
— Juanita, Library Patron

“It’s just a magical place—so beautiful, so full of possibility. It's a place that makes me feel happy to be there."
— Carol, Longtime Library Patron

Stories like these are part of what makes this place special.

But we know there are many more.

Has this Library ever given you:

• A quiet refuge?

• A spark of creativity?

• A moment that mattered?

This is more than an event.

It’s the beginning of something we hope will grow year after year—bringing people together in support of a place that belongs to all of us.

Sponsorships are filling. Community partners are stepping forward.
Tickets are available.
