The Next Chapter:
Summer Starts at the Library

A Note from Belle

Hey Cedar Park,

From my perch outside the Library, I can already feel summer beginning.

Families staying a little longer. Kids racing toward the doors. More conversations, more laughter, more moments unfolding inside a place that continues to bring this community together in so many ways.

And this summer is shaping up to be one of our biggest yet.

Summer Adventure 2026 is officially underway — bringing theater performances, foam parties, magic shows, reading challenges, and experiences designed to spark curiosity and connection for families across Cedar Park.

None of it would be possible without the support of this community — including two incredible partners helping bring Summer Adventure to life this year:

★ Atmos Energy
★ Toyota of Cedar Park

Their generosity helps ensure these programs remain free, accessible, and welcoming for everyone.

And honestly… we’re just getting started.

✨ Look What This Community Made Possible

Through community support, volunteers, sponsors, and Foundation-led initiatives, these events continue creating meaningful experiences for families across Cedar Park.

This spring was filled with moments that brought thousands of people together — to read, celebrate, imagine, and support the Library in ways that continue to grow our community.

🌹 Run for the Roses

Our very first Run for the Roses brought the community together for an unforgettable afternoon — and raised more than $22,000 to support future Library programs, events, and community experiences through the Cedar Park Public Library Foundation.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, and helped make the event such a success.

📝 Help Us Build What Comes Next

Whether you joined us at Run for the Roses or cheered from the sidelines, we want to hear from you. What worked, what you loved, and what you'd love to see next — your feedback helps shape what Cedar Park celebrates together in the future.

🦸 Mini-Con 2026

In just three hours, more than 1,500 people filled the Library for one of our most energetic community events of the year.

From cosplay and LARPing to hands-on activities and community performances, Mini-Con created the kind of experiences young people remember long after the day ends.

“It was such a joy to be part of Mini-Con 2026 — the energy was incredible, and seeing 1,500 people show up for the community was really special.”

“We’ve been looking forward to signing up for the cosplay contest for weeks!”

Hands-on STEM activities encouraged curiosity and exploration for attendees of all ages.

Even cosplay judge Bradley Spears reflected on how meaningful events like Mini-Con can be, sharing how much he wishes opportunities like this had existed when he was younger — spaces where creativity, fandom, and community could come together.

📚 Spring Book Sale

Thanks to 29 incredible volunteers, this year’s Spring Book Sale raised more than $8,300 to support the Library.

And the next chapter is already coming soon:

📅 Fall Book Sale — September 25–27

The Chapter Society

There’s something quietly powerful about a gift that shows up every month.

It means the Library can count on you — not just once, but all year long. It means more books on shelves, more programs running, and more moments like Mini-Con and Summer Adventure happening right here in Cedar Park.

A monthly gift of just $10 puts one new book on the shelf every month for a child who can't afford to buy one.

Be first. Be a founder.
