April Praises and Prayer Requests

Praises:

We praise God that our children are enjoying the library and computer lab and that the Mamas and staff are seeing some children begin to embrace reading like never before!
We praise God for directing the hiring of two new social workers. We welcome Hastings and Edna to the EOH family. We are also thankful for the new EOH social work intern, Dorcas! (Edna and Dorcas grew up in the Family Homes.)

Prayer Requests:

ZAMBIA

Drought - Please continue to pray for Zambia as they are experiencing their worst drought in 20 years. Pray that the country receives the humanitarian aid and the food assistance they need.

BABY HOMES

Two more new children in crisis were brought the the Baby Homes at the end of March. Please lift up Mwaiwanga and Aiden. Pray for the Mamas as they care for these precious souls and for the children as they adjust to their new surroundings. This brings the total children to 39.

FAMILY HOMES

14-year-old Gloria lost her maternal great-grandmother and grandfather within days of each other. Please pray for Gloria as she processes these losses. May she be abundantly comforted by God and her EOH family.
Please continue to pray for the planned Afterschool Academy. Having already received 50% of the funding, we are optimistic that the facility will be fully opened by the beginning of the next school year. To learn more about the project, visit everyorphan.org/afterschool

YOUNG ADULTS

Please pray for internship opportunities to open for our many young adults seeking workplace experience.
Rabecca Mulikita is graduating with her degree in social work on April 26. We pray this is an exciting and God-glorifying day and that God continues to direct Rabecca's path.
