To our amazing community,
We are reaching out today with an important update regarding the future of the North Coast Food Web. It is with mixed emotions that we share that our current home has been sold, and as part of this transition, we have been informed that our rental lease will be terminated early. We are now faced with the challenge of finding a new location before July 4 to continue the vital work we do in the community.
We recognize that many of you may have questions or concerns about what this means for the future of our work. Our organization has been and will always be dedicated to supporting local food systems, strengthening small food businesses, and expanding access to affordable local food for all. We want to be clear: North Coast Food Web is dedicated to keeping the momentum of our programs alive, and we will do everything we can to minimize disruption during this transition.
This is a difficult moment for us, as it directly impacts our ability to support the businesses and individuals who depend on us. Our Staff & Board are actively exploring solutions and hope, with your support, we will find a new space to continue our work. If you know of any available spaces or have connections that may be able to assist in securing a new location, please send them our way. We appreciate your understanding and support during this time, and we will continue to keep you updated on our progress.
Thank you for being a part of the North Coast Food Web. Together, we will ensure that the work of building a strong, equitable food system continues—no matter where we call home.
With gratitude,
North Coast Food Web Staff & Board
