Hello friends,

Spring is bringing fresh stories, inspiring songs, and powerful moments to life through the Sing Me a Story Foundation. In this month’s newsletter, you’ll meet a few courageous kids, hear beautiful music created in their honor, and discover ways to get involved, such as supporting a story, attending a concert, or simply spreading the word.

Take a look at what’s blooming this March!

SMAS on FOX32 Chicago

Sisters Anna (age 5) and Lily (age 7) created the beautiful story "The Family of Butterflies". Watch how their story became the

inspiration for a touching song, brought to life by the voices of the Lake Forest High School Choir.

SMAS on CBS Chicago

Ky Larkin, 14, beat germinoma brain cancer, and wrote a story with her siblings about a battle against a serious opponent. The Prospect High School Orchestra brought it to life through music.

SMAS on CBS Mornings

Abigaile Kompst, a SMAS Songwriter, had her song featured in this CBS Mornings segment. The piece, part of the “Beg-Knows America” series, highlights the moving story of two widowed cancer survivors who found love and healing through shared grief.
